The Purpose of Deep Madderian creations

"I feel like one of the hugest things that music ever did for me was make me feel that there’s someone else who is feeling the way I am feeling — disconnected to humans as a whole."
-Adrian Orange, from an interview

This reflects the way I appreciate my own favourite songs, this paradoxical feeling of "there's someone else in the world who feels there's no one else in the world," or "I'm not alone in feeling alone." It is also conveyed in a Thanksgiving song:

I hope only that my lonely song
Will echo somehow everyone's
-Thanksgiving, from "Thanksgiving," from the album Thanksgiving

Thank you, my friend. Finally, someone appreciates this post. I thought it was worth commenting on, if I do say so myself, but I had resigned myself to the fact that no one would ever say anything {about it].

I'm writing an article on Thanksgiving and this sort of appreciation of music for the zine.
